Poor person snags a rabbit for dinner. State pays a warden more to nail him than it would have cost to pay for his food. Some things never change.
I believe this is a private warden. Not sure what the game was in the area. Point probably applies otherwise.
Note to self: next time you wear a woman’s dress to camouflage yourself while poaching, leave the top hat at home.
